This month’s pick for our Local Literature in Translation Book Club is Far by Rosa Ribas, and we’re thrilled to announce a special visit from the author herself! Far, published by Foundry Editions, and translated by the talented Charlotte Coombe, is set in an unfinished residential development in Spain, a haunting reflection of the country’s economic crisis. The novel explores the lives of a small, isolated community struggling with broken dreams, societal divisions, and unexpected human connections.
